![]() Episode #30 emPOWERment Whats keeping you from true empowerment? The other day I was having a conversation with a close friend who was sharing a difficult decision that she had to make and now was regretting it. She had called me to ask my advice –and at the time it seemed like a decision of time and money, but I realized it was much more than that, it had to do with her empowerment. So many times,we hear others talk about the importance of being empowered but little do we know how to go about it and the deep connection it has to our soul. She had just started a business that had taken off rather nicely, and out of the blue she had gotten a call from a former employer who wanted her to do a presentation on her experience with XYZ. She hesitated, her instincts told her to say NO, she rattled off an email of her time constraints, and they came back with another date and a sweeter deal, at which time she felt guilty and couldn’t say NO.

![]() Episode #29 Karolina Blaszkiewicz Interview Letting Love In....What's holding you back from love and success? When I was first asked this question, my answer was "nothing" ! Was that ever a BIG FAT LIE! Oh my, the story we tell ourselves. Before COVID I was dating on and off, looking for love. I had no problem meeting men...I just wasn't meeting the right man. I told myself that there just aren't any available or desirable men out there...at least one that I was attracted too. This is not to say that I didn't go out with some great guys because I did...there just wasn't any spark for me, yet at times there was for them. I would usually end the relationship after the third date. Does this sound like you?
![]() Episode #27 PowerUP to Unlimited Possibilities Are you Caught Up in A Power Play? At work with a colleague or at home with a loved one?? Do you know how it started? Has it kept you up at night, or stressed you out? Or perhaps its not even with a person...maybe its with yourself and you just can't decide which direction to go in, so you're racking your brain trying to get some clarity to what it is you really want...because you're feeling a slight tinge of dissatisfaction but don't know why. I can safely say I've been there in almost every area of my life at one point or another...trying to figure out how to move forward after divorce, bankruptcy, the death of family members, working for other people, to starting my own business! Boy, there were a ton of power plays going on there...but not how you might think. They weren't just dealing with my interactions with family and coworkers, they were with ME! Because truth be told, most often I was out there in my day to day life creating it by the seat of my pants!
lung cancer and my sister (mid-40’s) who’s brain tumors that 17 yrs later turned to cancer caused their deaths. All three suffered in pain physically, mentally and emotionally.
![]() Recovery Time You are going along your day when suddenly something triggers a thought. You think about your friend that you haven’t spoken to in a while – for whatever reason you’ve drifted apart, and you pick up your phone to reach out. She does not answer but sends you a pre-written text …”Can I call you later?” and you know deep in your heart it’s an excuse for not wanting to connect. You crave those intimate conversations that you used to have with her, those thoughts that you could share with no one else. You miss that. You begin to feel a loss and start to spiral down. What went wrong? ![]() Episode 25: Brian Rollo Interview What’s your life story? For me, 2020 was a year spent reflecting on my life story and I thought, “Boy I could write a book!” Something I think ALL of us have in common when we look back….I mean, everyone has at least one book in them, right? This made me ponder, what is my life story? I was reminded of a high school reunion I went to for my dearly departed sister. It was awesome seeing old school mates that shared great stories about her…but what struck me was that I felt most people saw me as someone with tremendous loss. It was something about the way they looked at me. ![]() CIRCLE OF COMFORT: Getting 2021 Ready Circle of Comfort… is what we know is safe from change. What we are comfortable in – that area of our life we know and we control. The cup of coffee in the morning, the warm and fuzzy slippers, the beach vacation that has you laying on the beach in a hazy lull of delicious splendor in which you never want to leave. Comfort. This is life. We tend to get into a rhythm, one that we know and expect. The older we get the more we tend to stay in our Circle. The years pass, our dreams are shreds of the past, and we go on plugging – wondering “what would have been if…” but we shrug it off with too old, too late. The things that we are comfortable with, the ones that we are used to, are now the standard. No more adventures, no more living “la vida loca,” just day in and day out sameness.
![]() Silent Night Holiday family gatherings have become smaller and more intimate this year. As we approach the season, I am reminded of a time when I was a child and how I would sit, in front of the Christmas tree 🎄 just before bed time. I'd marvel at the lights shining off the sparkling silver tree as the color wheel spun hosting shades of magenta, turquoise, and violet. |
