Your body is a temple and you’re the architect! At least that is a belief I’ve had for a considerable portion of my life.
I’ve always believed the idea that the body is a temple that houses ones soul. Like a home or a building, I see myself as an architect of my body. I am responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the construction of my body so that my soul has a healthy fit place to occupy and reside. My body is the house for my soul.
My premise became supported by my family history, when I became acutely aware after witnessing the decline in health to both my parents (in their late 40’s) who succumbed to
lung cancer and my sister (mid-40’s) who’s brain tumors that 17 yrs later turned to cancer caused their deaths. All three suffered in pain physically, mentally and emotionally.
