I’m not a fan of more shut downs, or even getting the vaccine when available! Like you, I enjoy being social, seeing friends and loved ones, getting out to a restaurant for a nice meal, maybe even with a date!! … But as we move into 2021, the forecast is how will we live with COVID with respect to each other? It all comes down to perspective, we are evolving all the time through progressive change. What is this pandemic calling us to become? A worthy question to ask yourself, after all, life is change, but growth is optional…we can accept the changes in our life or we can resist it! The choice is solely yours!! When change happens as fast as it did last March, it disrupt us and others around us. We can have a positive attitude and outlook, one like "Do No Harm"... but realistically without some sort of conscious effort and awareness it doesn’t go far. Christmas morning I was taking my time, enjoying the warmth of my down comforter, lazily drifting between my thoughts and sleep. I was thinking about how we would evolve as human beings moving forward into 2021… and if when Darwin was postulating his theory of evolution did he consider how a pandemic would be a catalyst for a global shift that would ultimately lead to being kind to one another and doing no more harm to one another? Did he consider the soul as part of evolution? Most likely NOT!....but this kind of Unity is worth striving for! I mean seriously, finding a vaccine for the common good shows us how we can work together worldwide...how cool would that be if this pandemic, plus all our technological advancements combined with genuine compassion for one another and creativity caused a shift in evolution for the good of all life here on our planet earth. It’s a bit of a dream I know, but WOW! As we enter the New Year, start to think about all the unlimited possibilities ahead as you create a 2.0 version of your life! As Cheli and I move forward into the New Year, it is our hope that the events of 2020, has awakened you to imagine something better for yourself and loved ones.
